Introduction: Yellowish Retro Handset Circle Phone (Successful in Fusion 360)

I have then many headsets in my draftsman, merely to the highest degree are already worn extinct and outdated. Furthermore, I am not a fan of a head set because it aches and hurts my ears and fountainhead, too. I intend to remaking my headset into something that pleasures ME. Most of all, it is not hurtful. Therefore, I would like to ploughshare my project in Instructables, so others make non have to waste time like I experience earlier. In this project, I definite to make it in Fusion 360 because it is easier and more elastic than Tinkercad in creating a design with some contours. Only it requires a sacrifice of one headset, either new operating theatre old i. No more more further sti, rent out's start!

Supplies

All you need are:

1 headset

Fusion 360

3D Printer and slicer software

White and Yellow PLA filament

Hot glue

Yellow Spray paint

One Coil electric cord (optional)

Step 1: Preparation

For making a 3D Pose in Fusion 360, you need to open Merger 360 software ab initio. If you have ne'er work with Fusion 360 previously, click here to download it. It is a justify trial for not related education or click Here for Education exclusively. When you open Fusion 360, it will direct you to the blank document. Choose the location of the Indian file and save the document.

Step 2: First Body-1

To create this French telephone, you need to create 2 body parts because IT is overlarge to print in my printing machine at erstwhile. To do this, I secondhand a form in Fusion 360. Choose a quadball and select the plane. Get across in the infinite as you want. Infix the diameter.

Step 3: Foremost Body-2

After you choose the quadball, flick edit form. Smatter until you get the form arsenic a handset rotary phone that you desire to make. See the picture.

Step 4: Second Torso-1

Select quadball and box for the second body. Select the plane. Go into the size and measurement. Fall into place in the space Eastern Samoa you desire and input the size. You can change the symmetry if you want to employment symmetry for your form. Detent ok.

Step 5: Second Body-2

Edit your personify form. Smatter until you get the form as a handset rotary phone that you hope to make. Immix kickoff and second body. Cut the handset in half horizontally. For the middle organic structure, shell information technology. It will show a hollow. Regard the picture.

Step 6: Second Body-3

Make a Mirror for all the body. Choose the pattern type with bodies. Select the aim that you want to mirror and the mirror plane. Click ok.

Step 7: Holes for the French telephone

Make some details on the organic structure. I made around holes in the physical structure by using a center diam circle in the sketch. Make as some as you like. Finish the sketch. Prize all the holes and squeeze out them by using surgical process cut, so you make holes in the body.

Step 8: Holes for Headphone Cable

Do not forget to seduce some lanes for the cables' way of life. To do this, create a hole horizontally from one end to the other.

Step 9: Details

I made some words for the styling, which are "1965" and "RETRO HANDSET". In the sketch area, click text and input the text. Extrude and make the operation cut.

Step 10: Rendition Body

To make the body realistic, return them using the material that you desire. It is an advantage victimization Fusion 360 than using Tinkercad, for Nuclear fusion reaction 360 provides some features of materials that we can economic consumption virtually. By doing this, we arse check what IT looks like before printing.

Step 11: Printing

Save all the body to .stl file and mark them. Because I
have limited yellow PLA filum, I used white PLA also. Full printing was about 13 hours and spent 127 meters. I used 0.34 millimeter of stratum height, with support and raft and 20% infill.

Step 12: Microphone and Cable-1

Get in order the oldish headset. Pull unconnected the microphone's component part one by one. The unitary that you will need is the main microphone and cable. Cut the mike to make it littler past turning cutting tools. Well-kept and smooth it with rotary tool sanding. I glue the cable with hot glue, sol the cable's length is stable and sturdy.

Step 13: Microphone and Cable-2

Insert the microphone and cable. By using some double tapes, glue the microphone to the French telephone. I add some painter's tape to secure the microphone.

Step 14: Polishing After Printing-1

Transfer all the support in printing. File the edges of the printing because I have a problem with my impression, which is the bottom of the impression is not level. See picture #2.

Step 15: Polishing After Printing-2

Glue the half spare hot paste. Paint the white one with chickenhearted spray paint. Extend the cable with painter's tape before painting, so the transmission line does not arrest painted.

Dance step 16: Assemble

Glue them together with passionate paste. Make sure the cable fits in the hole.

Footfall 17: Detail

I add detail to the cable with a coil cord by rolling the coil cord to the cable. I trim the edges and glue it with electrical tape.

Step out 18: Finished

Here is the result of my handset rotary phone. Have fun listening to it!
